Mark Tonkins

Mark Tonkins

Physical therapist Mark Tonkins, PT, ATC was a co-owner of Coast Physical Therapy until he purchased the entire practice in 2007. Since graduation from Wayne State University in 1979, his talents as a certified athletic trainer and physical therapist have been appreciated by elite college, NFL and U.S. Olympic athletes, as well as his many patients here in Titusville. As someone with deep roots in our community, Tonkins served our local athletes as athletic trainer for Astronaut High School for 12 years.

Currently, doctors from many local and not-so-local medical practices refer their physical therapy patients to Tonkins at Coast Physical Therapy. His specialized training in spinal stabilization and manual therapy serves his patients well as they heal from injuries and illnesses. “I like being able to take the time to listen to what a patient needs and wants,” says Tonkins. “Everyone is different, and every person has different goals. Being able to see every one of my patients every day they are here enables me to really focus on their needs so that they can get the care they deserve.”

Nathan Glenn

Nathan Glenn

Physical therapy assistant Nathan Glenn was born and raised in Titusville. After working briefly at Coast Physical Therapy as a physical therapy student of South University near Savannah, Georgia, Glenn came back to Coast Physical Therapy to practice full-time after graduation. His five years of experience in both private practice and hospital settings are valuable assets to patients receiving care at Coast Physical Therapy.

“I came back to Coast Physical Therapy because I really liked the atmosphere here,” says Glenn. “We get our work done, but we are also relaxed and fun-loving with our patients. And because we manage our work load well, our patients receive a very high standard of care.”
