The Biodex Balance System
In addition to the wide range of therapeutic and massage equipment available for client treatment, Coast Physical Therapy has recently added a Biodex Balance System. This dynamic and versatile piece of equipment can be used by patients with a number of different ailments and therapy needs to speed their progress and help them return to full fitness.
The Biodex machine can be used to evaluate balance, posture and weight dispersal and a course of action can then be programed in to strengthen and improve the endurance of the patient. This greatly improves recovery from surgical procedures and injuries and can be used in the prevention of falls and accidents
